Preschool Job Descriptions

 

The following jobs benefit the preschool at large. Each family is responsible for performing one job throughout the school year. Please allow two to four hours per month for most jobs, some jobs run considerably more. The job may be either a board position or a general position. The following is a list of current school jobs (subject to change as each year looks slightly different):


 
 

Board Positions

Board members serve as the leadership and the problem-solving resource for the preschool. The recommend actions to the preschool membership on policy issues or financial matters, oversee the hiring and supervision of the preschool teachers, set the school calendar, and administer scholarships. Board meetings are held the first week of the month.
